Squeak, bang,
Whoosh, clang.
When poetry gets too boring add a:
Zoom, pop,
Drip, drop.
Not all onomatopoeia are nice sounds:
SCREEEEECH.

BOO!
Some onomatopoeia sound funny:
Squelch.
Other onomatopoeia sound like animals:
Moo!
Some onomatopoeia belong in comics:
Pow! Crunch!
And some onomatopoeia sound like eating:
Slurp, Munch.
But at the end of the day, where would we be without a:

Phil awoke, tears streaming down his face and his whole frame shaking in fear. He'd had
another nightmare. Usually he'd just ignore them and go back to sleep as talking to Dan was out
